Oahu, Hawaii

Dear Readers,

I’m in paradise…

Or…better yet, I was. My family and I were fortunate enough to be able to take a gorgeous vacation this year. We vacationed in stunning Honolulu, Hawaii on the island of Oahu. Hawaii is truly a magical place, and not only because it has some of the most amazing beaches on this planet…because it does. But also, because its people are some of the sweetest folks i’ve met, and its culture is really something. Not to mention the FOOD! Whenever I happen to be in Hawaii, I always manage to come back home with a few extra pounds as souvenirs. 🙂

Nevertheless, the trip is always magical and totally worth it. Just take a look at these amazing sights!

Hawaii proved to be an incredibly magical vacation, and I am hoping to be able to visit again soon. Because Hawaii is relatively close to our friends in Asia, I found many stores that carried Korean and Japanese skin care. It didn’t take long for me to start prowling the Asian skin care aisles at one of the largest outdoor malls, the Ala Moana shopping center. I tried really hard to be good, but I just couldn’t resist the temptation that is Korean skincare. After spending way more than what I originally planned on, I comforted myself by reminding myself that Korean skincare stores are indeed scarce here in Colorado. 🙂

Anyways, I am extremely excited to be able to share my Korean skincare haul with y’all soon. I’ve already been testing all these lotions and potions, not to mention those amazing Korean sheet masks that have been all the rage. I’ve found quite a few favorites, and possibly some new holy grail products to add to my skin care collection. So, stay tuned!

xoxo – Andrea
